Nowadays, we as women juggle at least four balls at a time: careers, parenting, finances, and family. We feel pulled in many directions, knowing that we will be in trouble if we can’t juggle all these balls and balance all of our responsibilities, because if one ball is dropped, the whole bunch will be crashing down and everything will go wrong.
From a book that I recently read, “Dream Big” by Cynthia Stewart-Copier, I highlighted three great ways to bring balance to our life:
1. Decide what is most important to you. Get a clear picture of what you really want out of life. Then make a commitment to do whatever it takes to accomplish that dream. Begin each day by writing down what you want to do that day.
2. Evaluate each item on your list. Categorize items based upon your most important priority, the thing that is most important to you. Eliminate things that aren’t going to help you attain your ultimate goal.
3. Focus on your principal priority. Learn to delegate responsibilities to others and remember it’s okay to say no!
