There are different rules and ways to becoming rich. If there is one rule that impacted me the most, it is the one that I learnt from Wallace D. Wattles through his excellent book: The Science of Getting Rich
Here is the rule: “Always give more in use value than what you take in cash value”.
What does that mean? That means when you sell a product or service, you should always think of how to add more value to your cusotmers’ lives than the cash value they paid for it. You should not take more cash value from people than the use value they get. If you can truly understand this rule and use this attitude dealing with people, you would accomplish your financial success in a long run.
Arm with this rule, I feel very comfortable and confident when approaching prospects by asking myself: what’s in this deal for my client? how can I help improve her financial life through my service? By putting people’s benefits ahead of mine, I established successful relationship and make them my loyal customers.
